Enrollment Process

At Young Academic Club Early Learning, children are enrolled as spaces become available from our waitlist. Joining the waitlist is free, and placements are offered based on several factors, including the date of application, the child’s age, the days requested, and classroom group dynamics.

As openings arise throughout the year, families on the waitlist will be contacted when a suitablespace becomes available.

Centre Tours

Families are welcome to visit the childcare centre to meet our friendly and professional educators and learn more about our program.

Please contact the childcare centre to arrange a tour so we can schedule a convenient time to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

Upon receipt of the application, we will contact the parent(s)/guardian(s) to arrange a tour.

Upon completion of the tour, a registration package will be issued to the parents.

Once the registration documentation and all applicable fees are received, your child’s space will be reserved, and you will be sent a new student package in preparation for their first day!

Selecting a childcare program for your child is an important step for every family. At Young
Academic Club Early Learning, we are honoured when families consider us to be part of their child’s early learning journey.

We are committed to providing a high-quality early learning environment while also helping families access programs that can make childcare more affordable.

Our centre participates in the BC Government’s Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) as well as the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB). These programs are designed to help reduce childcare costs for families in British Columbia. The CCFRI lowers the monthly fee that families pay, while the ACCB may provide additional financial support depending on eligibility and household income.

Families are encouraged to review these programs to see if they may qualify. Our team is always
available to answer questions and provide guidance if you need assistance understanding how these supports work.
